Why I Created Prudent Pedal
My life took a 180-degree turn in my early thirties.
Up to that point, my life’s charge was to become the third-generation CEO of my family’s chain of auto parts stores. The company was started from my immigrant grandfather’s car trunk during the depression and built by my father and uncle after their father’s premature death. I played in our stores from the moment I could walk and began officially working in them at thirteen.
As part of my professional development after college, l sold software for a Silicon Valley software company and managed purchasing operations for a mega parts operation a state away. Five years later, I rejoined the family business and began graduate school.
As I completed my MBA at Saint Louis University, it all came to an end.

When not working, he’s reading a book, perfecting his “pedal stroke” with his Tower Racing cycling teammates, or soaking up time with his college kids.
Why "Prudent"?
Prudence is the cardinal virtue of great leadership. It’s wisdom gained from experience, translated into clear-eyed decisions and timely action. In the Prudent Pedal Growth Framework, prudence shapes everything: it guides where a firm chooses to play, how it executes, and how it sustains growth with integrity and focus.

Why “Pedal”?
Pedal reflects the structure and force required to turn intent into motion. We use the bicycle pedal stroke as a metaphor for synchronized, strategic performance.
In cycling, the downward push and upward pull of the pedal must work in concert to generate maximum power with minimal wasted effort. In business, the same is true: strategy and execution must align. Brand and delivery must reinforce one another. Marketing, Sales, and Client Delivery—like a full pedal rotation—must move in sync to generate momentum and drive results.
In short, Prudent Pedal is the discipline and design behind purposeful, powerful growth—the Prudent Pedal Growth Framework turns this metaphor into method.
